Private Berry Bowl Workshop

Gather your favorite people and enjoy the studio all to yourselves for a private Berry Bowl Workshop at Lovelight Handmade!

During this beginner-friendly pottery class, you and your guests will learn how to build a ceramic berry bowl completely by hand using hand-building techniques. We'll guide you through shaping and constructing your bowl, adding drainage holes, and finishing the piece with your own creative details.

Keep it simple and organic or make it completely your own with textures, stamps, and other customizations. Once your berry bowl is finished, you'll select a glaze from our studio glaze library and we'll take care of glazing and firing it for you.

No pottery experience necessary — we'll guide your group through the entire process!

Private workshops are perfect for birthdays, bachelorettes, team outings, family gatherings, date nights, or simply getting a group of friends together to make something by hand.

Private Workshop Pricing

Private workshops have a 6-person minimum. You're welcome to book with fewer than 6 guests, but the total cost will remain the same as booking 6 spots.

For groups of 6 or more, pricing is $119 per person.

Example: A group of 3 would pay the same total price as a group of 6.

Food + Drinks

Private workshops are BYOB, and you're welcome to bring food and snacks for your group to enjoy during your event!

After Your Workshop

Finished berry bowls will be ready for pickup in approximately 4–6 weeks. We'll send you a text message as soon as your pieces are ready for pickup.

If you're picking up for your group, please make sure each person's piece is ready before coming in.

Shipping is available for an additional charge.

Refunds & Cancellations

• All workshop bookings are non-refundable.

• 24+ hours notice: Cancellations made more than 24 hours before the start of the workshop will receive a full class credit, which may be used toward a future workshop or Lovelight products.

• Within 24 hours: Cancellations made within 24 hours of the workshop will receive a 50% class credit.

• Within 8 hours: Cancellations made within 8 hours of the workshop will not receive a refund or credit.

• Rescheduling: Reservations may be rescheduled one time only. Any additional rescheduling will require the purchase of a new workshop reservation.

Private Workshop Policies

• Private workshops require a 6-person minimum.

• Please arrive on time. Guests arriving more than 20 minutes late will not be able to participate.

• Private workshops scheduled after 7:30 PM are subject to a $100 late-hours fee.

• Finished pieces must be picked up within 4 months of your workshop date. Pieces left beyond this window may be donated.

• Ceramics is a handmade process, and slight variations and imperfections can occur during drying, glazing, and firing. These are a natural part of working with clay and make each piece unique.
