Ponies + Pottery at Live Lucky Equine Rescue
Come meet the Live Lucky herd and spend an afternoon creating pottery right alongside the horses!
For this special off-site Lovelight workshop, we’ll be setting up inside the barn at Live Lucky Equine Rescue. We’ll start with a demonstration of simple handbuilding and pinch-pot techniques before giving everyone 1.5 lbs of clay to create with however they’d like.
Make a bowl, dish, pinch pot, little sculpture, or follow wherever the clay takes you. This workshop is intentionally a little more free-form than our traditional studio classes, and absolutely no pottery experience is necessary.
Lovelight will provide the clay, tools, and instruction and will transport your finished work back to our studio for firing and glazing. Finished pieces will be available for pickup at Lovelight approximately 4–6 weeks after the workshop.

A portion of proceeds from the workshop will be donated to Live Lucky Equine Rescue to support the care of their horses.
Finished mugs will be ready for pickup in approximately 4–6 weeks. We'll send you a text message as soon as your piece is ready for pickup. If you are picking up for a group, please make sure each person's piece is ready before coming in!
Workshop Policies

Please arrive on time. Guests arriving more than 15 minutes late will not be able to participate in the workshop.

Finished pieces must be picked up within 4 months of your workshop date. Pieces left beyond this window may be donated.

Ceramics is a handmade process, and slight variations and imperfections can occur during drying, glazing, and firing. These are a natural part of working with clay and make each piece unique.
All workshop bookings are non-refundable.

Cancellations made at least 24 hours before your workshop are eligible for a full studio credit.

Cancellations made less than 24 hours before your workshop are eligible for a 50% studio credit.

Cancellations made within 8 hours of the workshop and no-shows are not eligible for studio credit.
